Discoveryland Christian Preschool

I was nervous to take the next step of putting my son in PreSchool. Looked around town and thanks to a recommendation from a close friend I found Discoveryland. The staff is always friendly and they genuinely care for every child. My son had a hard time separating from me and the teachers and other parents were supportive to both him and I during the transition. I love that they not only focus on academics but also spirituality. My son has flourished at Discoveryland Christian Preschool, more than I could have ever hoped for. He's made lots of friends and now he loves going to school. And I feel confident he's safe and happy while at school. I couldn't thank the teachers enough for all their hard work and dedication not only to my son, but to all the young minds they mold. The only reason why they didn't get 5 stars was because my son doesn't normally take naps, but they require every kid nap. I feel like during nap time they should separate the kids that nap from the kids that don't. And let the older kids play while the younger ones nap.

A great preschool that goes above and beyond. The care is based on Christian values and the teachers are very caring.  Top notch pre-school.  This is not a day care center where the kids just play all day, they do a lot of reading and activities such as music and crafts.  It also gets the kids ready for the next step, the private school which hosts the pre-school, VHM.

Discoveryland is an outstanding preschool program near Capitola Rd / Soquel Ave / and 7th Ave.  This hidden gem when discovered by parents is frequently praised as "I can't believe this great program is right here!"The school has two recently remodeled classrooms, loving teachers and great staff in a secure setting.
