Cecilia is a wonderful teacher! She is great with children, and knows how to keep them engaged during lessons. My kids (5 and 4 yrs) have loved going to her for Spanish tutoring. She has worked with them not just on speaking Spanish but also on reading/writing. Her office is set up comfortably, and the kids adore her dogs. I highly recommend SpanishBLAST!

When my older son left his Spanish immersion preschool for a non-immersion elementary school, we hired Cecilia to help him maintain and grow his Spanish language skills. Cecilia has been working with my two sons for the past two years, and it's been a pleasure to see how well they are doing with reading, writing and speaking in Spanish. My kids adore working with her. She is full of energy, constantly making learning new, interesting and fun. She is also very attuned to the different learning styles of my kids and can make the necessary adjustments to make sure both of them are getting the most out of their time with her. This past summer, my boys attended Verano BLAST summer camp that was run by Cecilia and her colleague Courtney. Everyday for three weeks, the boys would come home raving about how much fun they had. The program was very engaging, bringing together components of literacy, art, and outdoor adventures, all in Spanish. The kids were able to use their Spanish on the go, while visiting the murals in the Mission and the Mexican Museum, among other excursions. At the end of the session they put on an adorable show of Spanish songs and dance. I would highly recommend Cecilia to anyone who is interested in having their child learn Spanish, develop existing Spanish skills, and / or develop literacy skills in Spanish. She is an exceptional educator, and one we are lucky to have working with our kids.

Cecilia is a gifted teacher! My daughters (age 4 and 7) attended her summer camp and they absolutely loved it. They were having so much fun, I don't think they even realized they were learning!! Cecilia incorporates literacy strategies so seamlessly. My girls went on field trips, sang songs, created art, played games and suddenly were throwing around Spanish phrases naturally! I can't tell you how happy it makes me to hear them speak Spanish. We will be the first in line to sign up again this summer! Andrea

Cecilia is AMAZING! My boys attended her summer camp last summer and loved it. We had tried another Spanish camp the previous year and the boys were so bored. Cecilia really knows how to engage a wide range of ages. My boys range from age 4 to 9. I was thrilled to learn that she does in home Spanish Tutoring. She has been working with my children on a weekly basis. They work on Spanish language activites, play games in Spanish and she has taught the three oldest how to read in Spanish. My four boys can be a handful, but she is extremely patient and manages them very well. The family who referred me to Cecilia and BLAST have had their children tutored by Cecilia for several years. I've already referred her to another family who also loves Cecilia. I really can't say enough positive things about her.
