I felt like a child in a candy store, except I was looking at jewelry! I did make a purchase and will be back again. I heard her talking to another employee and realized they have an online store too. I made a purchase online and the ring was as expected based on the pictures. I will definitely stop by the store next time I'm in Solvang and shop online.

Some years ago when my wife and I were married, we purchased an heirloom wedding ring from Designs In Gold. The patient and wise store owner Ginger found the perfect ring, and my wife fell in love with it the moment she saw it. In the years since, we occasionally visit the Solvang store for a free cleaning. Ginger is always there to greet us, making us feel welcome. Recently, we went back to the store looking to have a new, larger stone placed in the setting. It involved complex work and some reconstruction to accommodate the larger stone. The finished product looked as though it had been designed that way from the beginning. Ginger worked with us at every step of the process, and took care to make sure that the work was perfect, and we were happy. In a purchase of such importance, its imperative to work with someone who genuinely cares about the people, the process, and the result. Ginger engenders trust.
