Terrible service my dad hasn't had his therapy that he should be having, doesn't have his surgery cleaned ,restrooms smell like urine very unprofessional needs better staff!!

My dad suffered from a stroke and had therapy at Sunnyside Nursing Center. My dad/our family had no complaints. The Nurses, nurses assistants,therapy, Dree, the social worker and staff as a whole were all AMAZING! During our visit we were able to be a witness to the effort that was put into caring for my dad, the protection for the residents against covd19 so each guest was tested prior to visiting, the staff we interacted with was very polite, helpful and professional. We thank you for going above and beyond!

My Godmother was at the home and did not meet our standards. The staff was nice but the facility was not as upgraded and cleaned as we would have liked.

This place is horrible. My friend got no showers, no PT, wouldn't let him leave. AWFUL not fit for a dog!

How do you explain learning to re-stand & re-walk after being off your feet for several months?
When your immediate life threatening challenges have been addressed, you're advised to utilize rehabilitation. Thankfully I have a wonderful supportive family who insisted on Sunnyside Post Acute Nursing Facility in Torrance, CA.
I was not receptive to any facility, however my sister was insistent. I'm so happy, now, that she was!!! Not only was I NPO & lethargic when I initially arrived, I was so depressed at the different surroundings. But the doctors & nursing staff were so caring, friendly & patient with me, I couldn't be depressed for long.
