Ventura County Credit Union - No public access

When i joined many years ago, was told certain updates would be made...They were never implemented: for example: customize their ugly hard to read debit card. This CU is SO behind the times, such as, no fingerprint optical sign-in. My other CU implemented this years ago to securely sign in. All my CC companies have this. I was sooo upset with their OUTSIDE VENDOR who handles Bill Pay (which u wait LONG xs to speak w anyone) that I wanted to speak to the CEO of VCCU, made several requests to be contacted but my calls were never returned! Have u seen their gigantic NON customer headqtrs Corp ofcprime location above Seaward/Vista Del Mar in Vta??? Would be nice if their HUGE Profits would actually be used to optimize & update their services for their CUSTOMERS!!! Just read the soooo many other poor reviews. Replies from vccu say: we strive or our goal is exlnt cust srv. NOT EVEN CLOSE and EMAIL US- REALLY?!? Dark ages once again!

CAREFUL! Behind all their marketing talk about "community" hides a bank that will gladly seize your money calling it "fees". The Ventura County Credit Union is even worse than the Big Banks because the big banks will at least issue a "courtesy" refund when caught red handed. VCCU will deem an account "dormant" without prior notice and illegally seize your money. If you are looking for an alternative to Big Banks DO NOT GO TO VENTURA COUNTY CREDIT UNION.

Wasn't actually here, but they are a pretty good bank and I have always been treated well there.

Really the worst bank besides BofA. So many errors on the banks end that led to fees being charged. The list of issues I have goes on and on. Stay away unless you want a bank that charges a lot of fees for their own mistakesagain and again.
