Crocker Realty - Real Estate Company

I used Crocker Realty to sell my home in Westminster and buy in Arvada, closer to my work right at the start of the pandemic. I found the home that I wanted online and my agent set me up to see it the next morning! It was in somewhat rough condition but my realtor told me there was one other offer and suggested I bid full price. I got the house. My Westminster home had multiple full price offers on it the first weekend it was on the market. One offer (from a realtor) was unrealistically high yet my agent suggested that we go with that one. A month later, literally on the day that I closed on my new home the buyer backed out completely on my old home. Claimed it was too expensive. I received the notice from my agent in a text message stating that she was out of town camping and wed get it back on the marked when she returned. In panic mode now I pretty much had to accept the low ball offer that the buyer came back with I received $445,000.00 minus fees (I even of course had to pay the buyer$14,000. for representing himself in the purchase. A little over a year later my old home was of course back on the market. 775,000.00!!! They had given it an interior face lift with new floors and paint. None of the major appliances were replaced. I KNOW the people that bought this house have been stuck with some of the issues I lived with for 15 years in that house. In addition, I was required to PAY OFF the loan on my BRAND NEW SOLAR PANELS, completely give them away as Daria didnt think we could transfer the payment (this is something that Ive found out after the fact we could have transferred the loan on the solar)! Follow up on comment from Crocker Reality; I hired a realtor hoping to get the most out of the home I had lived in for 15 years and had FULLY PAID OFF. My agent from Crocker realty strongly suggested that I buy before I sell in order to acquire literally the first house that I was shown and liked. I did this, I financed the full amount. Then after huge delays and expense in the sale of my home I applied the money that was left to my new home. The mortgage company charged me the payment on the full amount plus MORTGAGE INSURANCE for a full year before I was able to adjust the payment and drop the mortgage insurance. I also wasted thousands of dollars putting in new carpet, getting the furnace tuned up, deck repair and staining all a total waste. Daria said she would help me find the people to help with the repairs but didnt. All in all, I now have a mortgage of over $100,000.00 and no my Arvada property has not grown in value by 40% not even close. I finally got my payment down to a reasonable amount after basically having to plead hardship with the mortgage company. I wish I would have saved the hassle and expense and gone with one of those companies that buys your house as is. Im POSITIVE I could have gotten AT LEAST the low ball offer following the backing out of the high offer scam that put me at step one day after closing on my Arvada home. Live and learn unfortunately.

This man was really rude. Our agents got in contact in hopes to get information on our home that we were hoping to buy and he simply brushed us off. He said he was busy and would call when he had time to make an appointment in a very condescending way. He simply didnt wanna make the sale to us. Dont recommend.

James has a vast amount of knowledge as it pertains to the Denver real estate market. When James took our listing he said he would have the home sold in a week and actually had it sold and under contract in two and a half days. James was always available to answer any questions we had and to help us through the process. James provided us with a very smooth real estate transaction. Home was sold well over list price. I would definitely recommend James Crocker and his team at Crocker Realty for anyone looking to buy or sell a home. We are very appreciative for everything that James did for us.
