The check in process was long and ridiculous. The employees there all look like they just rolled out of bed. No way of identifying that they work there. Shorts, t-shirts, slippers with socks. Upon dropping off the truck, I had to install the app, for one rental. The app was not working for almost 15 minutes. Both myself and my husband tried. I went inside, asked her if she could check me out. She says she actually doesn't work there, the employees left and would be back shortly. Said I could just leave the key. Gave her the key, but didn't feel comfortable that I had a record of my return, mileage, condition of the truck and what my charges would be. Tried the app again, got it to work. Sent my husband in to get the key back. The app was working, but still super slow. I feel like the hardest part of my move was the check in and drop off. Why pay employees if I have to do their job, or if they are not going to be there?

I had a reservation (reservation number 94541896) to get a hitch installed in my car for 07/15 at 8:30 AM at 311 W Main St, Meriden CT. I reached the office promptly at 8:30 AM on 07/15 after driving for over 30 minutes from my home. I was informed that my schedule has been postponed to 07/22 and that a text message and a phone call was done to inform me about that. I didnt receive any phone call or email (the initial booking information was sent by email and I was expecting all communications to be thru email) or text message and wasted over 1 hour going to uhaul.
