Not what Im used to at Hilton.
Rooms: Carpet was stained and worn, one light didnt work, room had better potential as a linen closet

Great hotel in the heart of Washington, DC. Service was outstanding, rooms clean and well maintained. Great valet service and attention to detail. Check in was very smooth. Nice bar and restaurant area with good service.

Rooms are old. There was no hand soap in our room, when i call reception and talk with Leger ( after 10 min try ), he said whole hotel
Is out of hand soap, he advised me go inside shower use shower gel every time i need hand soap. Unacceptable and unbelievable.
Walkability: Near capitol.

I stayed at the Hilton Washington DC Capitol Hill for one night as we were attending the national cherry blossom festival. Leger from the front desk, was very helpful, and was able to provide us with connecting rooms. The day of the reservation, I received a notification via the Hilton app, that our rooms were ready at 1pm, which was amazing! We were only in the room during the night time, so I can confirm the lighting was terrible, but we made due with the 2 lamps provided. I will say, the staff bartending on Friday 3/22 at 9pm were very welcoming and attentive, please let the bartender with the beard know I loved his service! The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the bathroom shelving was unique. Ultimately, you're paying for the location of the hotel and not so much for the amenities. Everything was within walkable distance, especially to the Union Station terminal.
