I know that there are already about 3k reviews but I wanted to let the staff know that they are appreciated for being awesome during the hectic solar eclipse check in time. Many people were wanting to hurry and get into position with their free Yotel provided eclipse glasses to view the event and the staff moved in double time to get us set up. Thanks Yotel!! This hotel is close to everything in DC and they have the best fried chicken and deviled eggs if you are into those kinds of things. Carrie at the downstairs bar is an awesome mixologist and the pool and bar area on the roof is like a private little escape from the rush of the city. Come check it out. Oh, taxi's and Ubers are all around and can pull right up to the front door in bad weather or for people with mobility issues.

This place was great, the rooms are fun and clean. It's like a spaceship with a little person stripper pole next to the rack you hang your clothes on. Conveniently located too.
Would love to stay here again!

Delightful boutique hotel. The sleeping rooms are nicely appointed and the staff attentive. If you have business on the Hill, I can't think of a nicer place to stay.

Highs: Location. Staff was friendly. HVAC was effective. There were enough elevators and they were fast. Overall cleanliness. Shower was easy to use.
Lows: maybe I'm alone in this, but when I finally get to my hotel room after a day of whatever, the last thing I want to do is have to learn how the lights work. And unless it was user error, which I will also blame on the design, there was no way to turn on JUST the bathroom light. So you can poop by the light of your cell phone, or wake up your roommate. Also bathroom related, but precious little sound insulation for what goes on in there. Small gripe, but the TV's motion smoothing turns the most exciting special effects into a cheap daytime British soap opera.

This was an unexpected delight and surprise. The location was ideal for checking out Chinatown, the State Capitol and the National Mall. On-street parking was easy from Saturday evening into Sunday and plentiful. The room was clean and the bathroom spotless. I would also recommend it for anyone in town for the Cherry Blossom races.
