I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fort Myers and was deeply disappointed with the experience, which unfortunately compels me to write this review. From the outset, my stay was marred by a series of issues that significantly detracted from the comfort and convenience one would expect from a hotel of this reputation and price point.The room was equipped with an air conditioning unit and a fridge, both of which produced a constant, loud noise throughout the night. This made it incredibly difficult to get a good night's sleep, which was the primary reason for my stay. Additionally, despite being a member with supposed benefits, I was surprised to find no complimentary water in the room. This oversight forced me to purchase water, adding an unnecessary inconvenience and expense.A particularly glaring issue was the complete absence of soap in the shower. The liquid soap dispenser had not been refilled, a basic amenity I had taken for granted until I found myself without it mid-shower. When I contacted the front desk for assistance, I spoke with a staff member named Jessy. Unfortunately, Jessy was anything but helpful. His response was to direct me to contact my booking company, a suggestion that was both baffling and frustrating, as my concerns were clearly with the hotel's services and not the booking process.Jessy's lack of concern and refusal to offer any form of compensation or even an apology for the inconvenience were deeply disappointing. Considering the room rate of $200 per night, the level of service and attention to guest comfort was well below what I had expected.As a result of these issues and the staff's indifferent response, I checked out with a firm decision never to return to this establishment. Furthermore, I feel compelled to advise my colleagues and company to avoid doing business with this Hilton Garden Inn in the future.
