Although my transaction here involved quite a bit of time, I understood and expected it, because of the complexities of my situation. That said, the clerks involved were courteous, efficient, informed, and professional. I actually enjoyed my afternoon here, thanks to the employees.

I am sure the agents that work here are only trying to do their job. But honestly I think that the office of the tax collector could reassess their procedures and policies. With the states assistance they should ensure their office is consistent with disseminating the SAME information to all residents. Its unfortunate it gets to the point that residents leave frustrated. It shouldnt be this way. We live in a digital world and our state should adopt the times and find an effective and efficient way to get the information they need. Secondly, the office should really reconsider wasting the valuable time of our public safety officers, let alone what it costs our community/state to make house calls to verify VIN numbers. Seems like a waste of time and efforts for our police officers! The response is, Oh they do it all the time. Not sure that is a good answer. After my visit today, the most positive takeaway was that Larry Rays assistant was very understanding and the two different police officers that had to come to my home to verify VIN numbers were super pleasant and accommodating!!! Thank You Naples Police. So tomorrow, off again I will go to the office and just maybe I will be able to complete my transaction!
