TownePlace Suites by Marriott Albany

I have been to so many Hotels mostly traveling with my job and I can tell you not many Hotels impress me. TownePlace took me by surprise. The service was extremely excellent , the rooms were very clean and smell great, the location is within walking distance to the mall and food places, the recreational area was clean, the grills were amazing and I wish the pool area were open because it looks fun yet peaceful and the oven in the room was great and on point ( I love to cook my on food and save money lol). I have been here Three times already. I give TownePlace Suites by Marriott of Albany, GA Five Stars Rooms: The rooms speak for themselves. Very clean, warm and great vibe like rooms... Nearby activities: Near restaurants, Mall, Target, bars and etc... Safety: For some reason I feel safe, nobody in my business and don't have to worry about anyone harassing yet harming me... Walkability: In walking distance to nearby plazas, restaurants and other places... Food & drinks: Wow, the food in the morning really hit the spot, fresh sausages, eggs, bacon etc... Noteworthy details: I'll have to let you ladies and gentlemen find out for yourselves ...

This place is disgusting. From Miami(driving) working and visiting family all day. Checked at 10 and was greeted by the smell of mildew and just nastiness!!! Couch was stained with white spots that could have been cleaned. The bathroom still had hair in the tub. Couch and Ottoman need some attention just dirty, I didn't even want to sit on it. Now I have to go to sleep on GOD KNOWS WHAT! I won't be staying her for my entire stay in GA.

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. I stayed at this hotel for a whole month for work and went home over the weekend and came back to the same room and noone didn't even touch the trash or cleaned the room. The room spelled so bad from the trash from Friday night. Also the staff is very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place unless all the staff is replaced.
