Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta Buckhead Pharr Road

The staff there are very friendly. With that said, there were a number of little things that caused me to give this hotel 2 stars. *Our hotel suite had only one (finicky) working burner. *The hot surface light stayed on constantly, making me worry there was an electrical issue with the stove. *In the suite there was a frying pan but no spatula. *We requested towels after the cleaning service skipped our room two days in a row (unsure why) and we were told they left for the day. *The shampoo and body wash bottles were empty when I got there, which was frustrating because I had not brought my own. *The pool area looks gorgeous, but unfortunately, due to renovations we were unable to enjoy any of the outside areas that usually would have been available. It is my hope that the management will take note of this review and have somebody check each stove and each suite to be sure that things are working properly and the necessary utensils and shower stuff are in each room. Kudos to the front desk staff for being helpful and friendly though.

If you dont mind doing some more cleaning it isnt a horrible place to stay. There were quite a few long hairs left from the previous guest in the shower. The stove was also dusty but it didnt bother me much. There were 3 or 4 lady bugs in the room too. The bed was comfy, and the room was more modern than I was expecting so that was nice. It is located in a decent area and there is a good bit of parking. During my stay the parking garage wasnt as bad as I expected based on the reviews but I understand the concerns. The fitness center was disappointing too but thats not a big deal. Overall it was okay. I recommend if it its a cheaper option and youd like to save money or if its in an area you desire but I probably wont be back.
