Clarion Inn & Suites Atlanta Downtown

This is the worst hotel Ive ever stayed in..We had to change rooms twice due to the excessive stale smell of cigarette smoke and other odors . The carpets were stained and everything was outdated. It was horrible! We had plans to stay the entire day but decided to get out of there as quickly as possible. Got a few hours of restless sleep and checked out..Dont waste your money, its not worth it! Also they charge $25 a day for parking. The only positive in the entire stay was the staff. Chrissy, Mike and Mara were absolutely amazing!! They were as accommodating as possible under the circumstances.

I've never been asked to leave, by a hotel's manager, after making them aware of some shortcomings at the time of Check-in. Making them aware of their only two (2) handicap parking spaces, being occupied by cars without handicap designation. They said they didn't know who the car owners were; until the police got involved, and were going to have the cars towed. Then the front desk staff, contacted the car owners, who worked at the neighborhood business; the front desk staff lied to us ... The TV didn't work in our room, we didn't get the handicap room we reserved; we were told, the handicap rooms are provided, on a 1st come 1st serve, to the handicap reservations; so we didn't get our room we reserved, and paid for, up front. They also said they were going to charge a pet fee, for our Service Dog; that was their policy ... Worst hotel in Atlanta !!

I am trying to check on my booking, from a month ago, and add a day. This hotel looks good but I cannot reach the front desk- at all. The phone number is not dialing, and communication is not great here. Can someone please email or reach out to me?

The only good thing about this hotel is the location the service its really bad arrived. The lady got us a wrong room and she got an attitude the whole time. The Rooms are dirty, We found her on the pillows, splash of stuff on the walls. We even found an eyelash by the toilet. The whole installation of the hotel is really filthy. I would not recommend these hotel at all. I only give it a one star because its in a great location.
