I came recently to get a screen repair . Got the screen fixed my phone shut off and never came back on . I came back to get a new battery replacement they told me that my phone had water damage my phone had no water damage prior before they fixed it and they told me it wasnt gonna be able to be fixed . I went to get my phone fixed at another phone place and they told me that my phone got messed up and i had to pay an extra 160 dollars because my face id proxy got messed up when it got fixed at gfix and my battery was messed up in the process. I want a refund

THIS PLACE IS FRUAD!!!!! Don't go to this place I repeat they break phones. I took my phone to this place in the mall and all they had to do was replace my screen. They stole a plate and some screws out of my iphone and tried to cover it up by putting blue tape on the inside. I DON'T RECOMMEND this place at all. I had my phone for 8 years before coming to this place. Now my iphone 13 blacks out, power off on its own, over heat and wont stay charge since i took my phone here. Sam the store manager owned up to puting the blue tape in my phone and how unprofessional it was but argue to fix my phone properly.

ABSOLUTELY AVOID I got my battery changed here for my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Everything worked fine for about the first 10 days. Then the phone started randomly restarting every few hours one day and the next day it went to 0% battery and restarted every 2 minutes. I would be able to send one text before the phone would restart. I was traveling at the time so this was a nightmare. Luckily I had a coworker who used his phone to navigate during the trip and booked me an Uber when we got home. I decided I did not want to take anymore chances and went to the Apple Store like I originally planned to. The temptation of saving $30 and a couple hours install time had already cost me. Once I got to Apple they managed to get diagnostics from the phone just before it stopped working entirely even when plugged into a charger. They said in addition to the battery not being an apple part (which is fine because they told me that at g fix) they detected the wireless charging was damaged because that is right next to the battery and gets damaged if you dont know what you are doing. So they could not guarantee it would work even if they swapped the battery. By this point my phone was a brick so I was told I was no longer eligible for a trade in and there were no deals for upgrades. I went to T-Mobile next door and they told me the same thing (unless you get a more expensive plan) so I came back and asked for a battery change because I felt taking the risk for $89 was better than paying $800-1000 bucks for a new phone. Had to wait again and they warned me again. 10 minutes later the apple genius comes back and says he cant fix the phone cuz they stripped the screws so he cant even get it open. They had already told me if the bonding tabs were missing they wouldnt be able to swap the battery but I guess Ill never know if they screwed that up either. I was told all they could do is trade it for a used 11 pro max they had. For the price of that used phone I could just get a new iPhone 13 (not pro max). I ended up spending $800 and 6 hours of my time over a $60 battery repair from this place. Also the guy told me I have like 30 days to come back if there are any issues but when I got the bill by text (they dont print) it said 7 days and no refunds.
