BIZARRE SITUATION – NO RESOLUTION AND DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER! LONG STORY SHORT: Been with VOICE NATION since 2009 and continued to remain a loyal and happy customer for years, up until it added NINJA NUMBER. It is my understanding NINJA NUMBER was added to their business to take over the non-live answering service. In other words, any purchase of their services that does NOT involve a live person to answer your calls for you, is where NINJA NUMBER comes in. I had no choice and my account was transferred over to NINJA NUMBER. I use the call forwarding and voicemail feature a lot. Occasionally, when I am away on business and have to return a client’s call, I will call into my dashboard to retrieve my messages and use the "Outbound Caller ID" feature to return my clients phone calls. The feature (when working properly) works GREAT. It will show in my client’s caller ID, my business phone number (that was originally purchased via VOICE NATION back in 2009). This way my clients will know I am returning their phone calls from my “business†phone number. PROBLEM: As of a couple of days ago, when I returned my clients phone calls, my clients are asking me why does it show VOICE NATION in there caller ID, and not my phone number (which is what it use to do when I was with VOICE NATION back in 2009). I was extremely surprise this was now happening and called NINJA NUMBER. The agent said there is nothing they can do, and sent me some links to click on and read, to figure this out for myself. I requested for a supervisor to obtain some clarity and the agent said “NOâ€. I then had to call in and make a NEW ticket in order to speak to a supervisor (this is there procedure). The supervisor never called me back, but sent me an e-mail confirming that the agent is correct, and the issue is on my end, not there’s and for me to read the links on how to contact GOOGLE to fix this. To fix WHAT…….the name VOICE NATION is now appearing in my clients caller IDs, how can I fix that situation, I don’t work for VOICE NATION nor NINJA NUMBER. This is clearly an internal issue that developed (2) days ago. PS I also called VOICE NATION to obtain some clarity and the tech support was completely surprised AND confused as to why it will show the words VOICE NATION in someone’s caller ID, when VOICE NATION has absolutely nothing to do with NINJA NUMBER, specifically, that part of the service. So now, I am completely left in the dark, no resolution, and can no longer use that feature because my clients are asking me who is VOICE NATION?????
