I was disappointed in my first experience with St. Francis. I have an elderly dog that was bleeding profusely from her foot. I shared with front desk and doctor that i was sure it was from a toe nail that curved piercing the swollen toe and it has erupted. Doctor after supposedly evaluating dog says very little chance that was it and that it may be a growth. I asked if the foot had stopped bleeding and was told multiple times yes. They never cleaned the foot. The dog was still matted in blood. I cleaned her up at home and dog foot still bleeding. I go back for assistance with bandaging it and then I am told oh there was a nail in the foot and we have removed it now. My dog was bleeding the entire time and I paid for unnecessary medicine from the first wrong diagnosis and then for bandaging the second visit. Unfortunate and expensive experience.

We have visited Saint Francis twice now. This latest time was on a Friday night. The entire staff was welcoming and reassuring. They took great care of our almost 17 year old cat! We will definitely use them in the future.

My babies are still in their care as we speak , but from the front desk person shalom , to the tech who took a selfie with my sick baby , I feel like they loved my dogs just as much as I do. They were so caring and informative! Given the stressful situation were still in they all showed so much compassion and transparency from billing to the care. Hopefully I wont have to ever come back here but if I do or someone I know needs an emergency vet this will be the first place I point them towards!
