Budget Car Rental

Very unhappy and will be opening an investigation into this location. I walked in on Friday January 6,2023 and was met by a young lady who presented herself as the manager. I reserved a convertible for one day thru my company and the fee came up to 129.00. Per budgets website the security deposit is 300.00. This young lady proceeded to tell me that they are authorized to charge 1,000 for ALL sports vehicles, which I know was a lie. I then told her I wasnt interested. Also I have congestive heart failure and I take water pills, I asked her to use to the restroom because I had just taken my medicine she because of Covid its not open to the public, also saying it in a rude manner. In addition to being scammed and not shown basic human courtesy I will be reporting that young lady and location to the corporate office. I have never felt so mistreated by a company in all my years of dealing with that location. Just because we are in a predominantly black neighborhood doesnt give them the right to treat us like this. They will be reported.

They get 2 stars because they're close to my house and have good rates, but these cars are always dirty. Today I rented a van and marked the scraped rear panel but I wish I had looked better at the inside. They didn't bother cleaning this thing at all. It looks like somebody was living in it, threw up in it and didn't clean it up good. I just scraped GUM off the inside of the back door. And they don't answer the phone. If I didn't have somewhere to be I would take it back. Sure do wish my people would do better. EDIT: I brought the car back and asked the young lady if they even have anyone cleaning the cars anymore. She basically rolled her eyes at me and asked to see the paperwork. I guess she was going to try to blame the scratches on the bumper on me. So incredibly irritated. I think this is the last time they get my money.
