This review is of no reflection of my doctor. But the staff refuses to answer the phone. Its been a week and my pharmacist says they have contacted their office multiple times and they do not reply or answer to finish their portion of the authorization form. Its so difficult to get medication as it is, and the lack of anyone to even answer the phone is crazy. This is like a bad apartment complex managing system. Unreal. The wont answer my portal messages either. Im not sure what Im doing using my insurance to go there anymore. They arent completing their part of the appointment which is to ensure the pharmacy has what they need to fill medication.

I was given a referral to LifeStance at the end of February, because Im going through a lot while recovering from a horrific motorcycle accident. After a few days I actually called to check the status. I talked with a lady that assured me that someone would most likely call me that day or the next. She explained that they probably just didnt check the referral yet but didnt even take down my information. She acted like I was bothering her or she was too busy to be answering the phone. Here we are a month later and nothing, so I literally called and cussed them out. Maybe the recorded call will help with training. People dont get referred to a counselor unless they need some help, so for them to completely ignore myself and this referral is sickening at best. I wonder how many of these mass shooters were ignored in a similar fashion. The point being is that this is totally unacceptable and irresponsible given the nature of what they do. They should be ashamed of themselves and should not be allowed to treat anyone. Ive told you who they are, its up to you if you think that you can trust people like this. Good luck!!

*Not a reflection of my provider cus she was awesome.* Pretty sure my mental health worsened while dealing with this entire organization. I can never reach a human person on the phone. While you're holding, the message says to use the online portal to schedule appointments or ask questions. Except that never works either. I've been out of medication for almost 2 weeks. I called today to see if they could call in a verbal prior authorization, used the callback function and never got a call back. I messaged in the portal too. Nothing. They have no sense or urgency considering they're working with mental health patients. Oh but they're very quick to charge a no show fee. I asked them to change my phone number on file multiple times, but they didn't so I didn't get text reminders...so they charged me $100 for missing an appointment. I was on hold for over an hour trying to solve a problem with them. Then the person who answered transferred me and I was prompted to leave a voicemail-- So can I send a bill for my time too?

I wish I could give this 0 stars. I switched doctors with life stance and up to that point I was having no billing issues. The moment I started seeing the new doctor I was not getting a single bill. I would call and they would reassure me that my bill was payed. Now three months later the office is saying I never payed a single bill and owe an outstanding balance. When I called to get everything straightened out the billing team told me one amount and then the office told me another outrageous amount. Do not recommend.

I am extremely grateful for my therapist through LifeStance. She is knowledgeable, relatable, supportive, consistent, and professional.
