        Hale Kai is all about the ocean views, but the food makes it worth whatever wait you will have. First time there, we enjoyed the chicken tacos and grilled swordfish sandwich, both delicious. Later in our stay, the grilled ono and hamburger were solid if not spectacular. Had to end up vacation with Kona Coffee Mud Pie -- oh my was it exceptionally tasty!!

        It was nice to be able to do it with a great view. I wanted to order Labster fried rice, but because the cooking place was being remodeled, there wasn't much I could order. The food I ordered tasted good and the service was excellent, but the amount of food for the price seemed too small, unlike typical American food.
