Hotel Coral Reef

The air conditioner didnt work. They use codes for their doors and amenities. They kept changing the codes on us.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 6 days. Our room was on the 1st floor and opened up to a beautiful ocean view. From the hotel you can easily reach anything on the north end of the island and south end. The staff was very kind and accommodating. They lent us beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, a boogie board, gave us banana bread and made our stay very pleasant. It's not a high end resort but locally owned and operated. Perfect for people don't need extravagant amenities and want a true Kauia experience.

We stayed here for two days and definitely enjoyed the time here. The place wasnt big but was cozy and comfortable. All the rooms have ocean views ! And walkable distance to beach and shops in town. When you wake up and open the curtain, it was breathtaking and refreshing. They also provide free bikes, give it a try and enjoy the cycling along the coast. Be sure to go to bed early since you probably will be waken up by the chicken. We already miss the chicken family in front of our windows. Rooms: Very spacious single bed room. With large bath room place. Safety: Very safe. Walkability: Walkable to beach and shops in town. Food & drinks: No meals, but there are free bakery at front desk.

Beautiful view with sweet little kitten but other then that this place was a disappointment. Ive never stayed in a dirty room like this before. The walls needed to be painted, floor needed cleaning or just new carpet, didnt wanna touch anything because it looked like nothings been wiped down in years. The only thing that was nice was the bathroom.

Room was dirty. Furniture was old and damaged. Way to expensive for what you get.
