Kinzie Hotel

What a lovely little slice of heaven in Chicago North River district. The rooms are well kept. Very good sound insulation between rooms. It was very quiet. The views are great on the front side of the hotel. If you can spring for the suite, do it. Great view it the windows. They have a happy hour every day between 5 and 7 pm and a Continental breakfast in the morning. The staff was super friendly and always welcomed you in when entering and said have a nice day when you left. The beds are super comfy. Would stay here again.

I liked that the staff was helpful no matter what time you arrive. There are 2 parking decks that are very close, if you choose not to do valet. I like that breakfast was complimentary with our stay and gives you an option to not starve. The hotel is conveniently located near any walkable restaurant, and 15 mins from shopping. Love that the room was quiet even though our room faced the street.

Safety: Our 3 year old daughter was leaning against the window to look at the firetrucks when one of the brackets came off and hit her on her forehead, leaving a noticeable bump. It took 30 minutes for someone to take a look and when we checked out, all we got was a: oh, sorry!. Will definitely not come back

great location for exploring Chicago. Very nice staff and a great continental breakfast. Breakfast room could be a little bigger, otherwise everything was perfect!
