This was our fourth year at The James. Always a relaxing, comfortable getaway with friendly, helpful staff. We love the atmosphere and the location is excellent. Yes, we heard middle of the night sirens. It's a city! Looking forward to next year. We realized two weeks later we had left a jacket behind. The hotel staff confirmed our stay and had record of our missing jacket which will be shipped to us. Impressive!

Worst experience I have ever had in my life. After paying for my room and being confirmed early check-in due to illness, "manager"Alicia made it clear that we would not be granted a room early and forced us to wait in the lobby for 6 hours! Her excuse was that the room would not be ready during our 6 hour wait, if I was a manager at an exec level hotel I'd get up there and clean the room myself but maybe she's just too good for that. Instead you continued to make cruel anticdotes to my guest and myself and gave the worst customer service I have ever encountered! After reading other review with similar sinariois, sounds like it's time for a change of "management" I will be visiting Chicago this weekend, does your offer still stand?
