me and my husband have been living here for about a year and a half. the maintenance is amazing and the quality if the building is great. the biggest problem i have is the office and management. last year we were able to park wherever we wanted, no stickers or anything like that. i get thst that has become a problem so they had us register our cars in the system no problem. but now they call me telling me i have 3 days to fill out paperwork in order to get a sticker and not have my car towed. they tell me they left a paper notice on my doir weeks ago about this i talk to other residents and noone ever got a notice. i tell them its wrong to tow cars without giving us a heads up or even an email. an hour later theres an email: "Final Notice". noone even got a first notice. out of the 3 days we all have to get in paperwork the office is closed at least one of the days. ive now been sitting outside the office waiting for someone for over an hour no sign on the door and no staff anywhere to be found. the office is supposedly open and i call the number listed online and apparently it only goes to customer service located over seas. their number for the actual office isnt listed anywhere. so while ive loved most of the aspects of this apartment complex i am very frustrated with the office and management. do with that what you will...

Screw it! Why should I not speak out to what happened to me out of fear of management. I just want people aware of what they maybe getting into. My neighbors have been loud since November. I've complained to management multiple times and I even went there crying because the noise was/is unbearable and today (3/1/24) is no different, since I'm stuck in my room for the rest of the day because they are unbelievably loud. I even called the cops but nothing can be done. This maybe because these neighbors made FALSE allegations about staff saying they were racist and harassing them. Management on site is a lot of things but racist is not one of them. They lack accountability, they do not follow their own lease, such as giving 30 days notice to renew a lease, nor do they do anything about excessive noise. They lack empathy, consideration, communication, and are incompetent in certain aspects, not all, but some. It is clear that they do not hold standards for other workers (maintenance) for their behavior. The option was for me to transfer units. The day before the move I found out that staff gave away my unit. They said it was a computer glitch, fair enough however, I still deserved an apology, an explanation, and a solution because the noise of the neighbors was/ unbearable. I barely got any of those plus I guess I wasn't allowed to be upset. Heaven forbid that I got upset after all the packing and transferring all utilities over to the new unit. After several emails back and forth I just wanted to leave the complex all together because I felt that my rights were being violated and I also felt that they did not keep their end of the lease agreement or verbal agreement. Unfortunately, my lease did not end until July but it was eventually approved from the higher ups that they would not charge me a termination fee. I actually had a lawyer ready. My life was turned upside. Do you know how hard it is to focus on school work with the neighbors gaming system blaring!? I couldn't register for school, which begins Monday because I need a stable and reasonably quiet environment to live. I was even disgusted with the fact that they were originally going to charge me a termination fee, after all that. I almost lost my future rental because of them trying to be greedy. Plus it also really sucks living out of boxes since December. My neighbors alone have and continue to cause me so much stress and anxiety. This whole situation and management have also caused me great anxiety and stress. I really didn't want to live here anymore!!!!!! There was an interesting interaction with one of the maintenance men and my Hispanic male friend, my friend just told me(4/9/24) My friend has an old truck and reved his engine so it didn't stall. One of the maintenance men made an assumption and thought my friend was doing it on purpose towards them, while they were taking a cigarette break. The maintenance man told another maintenance man(the aggressor). So the aggressor comes up to the truck and was looking at it and says "Oh is this magic Mike moving truck?"- something along those lines and then starts aggressively questioning my friend why he's there etc and why did you rev his engine at them?, again paraphrasing. This maintenance guy did not have to approach my friend in this manner. This guy harassed my friend and then badgers me afterwards because he got scared of my friend. This guy is completely unprofessional and definitely on a power trip. His behavior is childish and disgusting. He should be ashamed of himself for how he, a grown man, acted, but again there is nothing I can do about it because even if I did say something, management would have blamed me because my friend parked in an incorrect spot. This guy then tells on us and a complex wide email was sent out to say that we are not allowed to park on the side of the garage, even though I see many people do the same. Guys, please just be smart and careful. Ask questions and protect yourself. Document and record everything. Read your lease and know your rights!
