We had a terrific experience for our second stay at this hotel while visiting family. We especially appreciated Sheri in the bar/breakfast area. She was friendly, helpful, made an extra effort to make us feel welcome and provided great information about the hotel and downtown area along with superb service for our breakfast experience both days of our stay. The food in all the restaurant options was excellent as well.
One suggestion can be made for the breakfast purchase option: We purchased the breakfast option with our room. It covers breakfast up to $25 per person. This is not articulated anywhere on the website or when you check in. It also isn't clear that this does not include a tip for the waiter or waitress. It forces wait staff to explain this to customers which is awkward for them.
I suggest either a table tent on the dining table with an explanation and/or something clarifying this in writing at check-,in.
Finally, the bathroom mirror lighting is rather dim and dark, making it difficult to apply makeup, etc.
We will happily stay at this location again because of friendly helpful staff, cleanliness, great food, accessibility to downtown and Riverwalk, safety and security is in place and the hotel provides an overall pleasurable experience!
