Lake+House Apartments

I've been living here for almost 2 years. The complex isn't perfect but Management tries to get things addressed, fixed and back to use asap. Most of the complaints that I have read on this page have not been due to the complex, but rather due to folks not respecting the space and property or things breaking down due to normal wear and tear. I have never had a package gone missing from the Mail Room. The landscaping team does a great job keeping up with the massive property that is a lot of nature. I have always had a follow-up reply when maintenance is needed: most of the communication will be through e-mail or the online portal. All the neighbors I've had have been super amazing. I feel very lucky to have the surplus of amenities that we have in this complex: pool(s), jacuzzi, saunas, sport courts, a gym, hiking trails, creeks, lakes, wild animals and lots of green space to get creative with. I've lived in plenty of apartment complexes before coming here, and this is by far the best experience I've had. If you're looking to get out of the city grind and dive into slow living, this is the way to go! You get a lot of beautiful views and an apartment that extends outside the four walls.

I've been waiting three months for them to give me a key to the building where I can pick up parcels. I think this shows the service of these apartments.

The will enter your apartment when you are away!, without any permission or prior notice , makes you feel unsafe.

Things you need to know about these apartments before you get stuck in a lease with them. There are Lots of package thieves, it will be very difficult for you to receive your packages, receiving one package feels like winning a lottery, you will spend most of your time on phone calls reporting missed packages and its so inconvenient, most sellers will not refund your money if a second package is lost so you will keep losing your hard earned money and suffer the inconvenience of having to go in store to buy simple things. Food deliveries are also stolen if you don't get there in time to pick it. (In 2 minutes) The Manager will never speak to you, always on a phone call if you try to reach her. Only time you get to hear from her is when extra charges have been added to your already paid rent bombarding you with emails to pay 50$ by "certified Funds" Not online but certified Funds so you will also suffer the inconvenience of having to go in and out of the bank monthly. Any complaints will not be taken seriously by management. Noisy neighbors, you can't even rest in your own apartment after a long work day. Everything here just so frustrating. It's not worth the Rent money We pay.
