    I do not accept your response because it is not true. Your diagnosis of the leak was incorrect. I have sent two emails to one of the owners with no response!!!? Charged $817 for diagnosing a leak, that they were unable to find, and mislead me by mis-diagnosing the cause of the leak, not once, but twice!!! The only thing they said to replace was the overflow plate and gasket. I asked if they could fix it, but they said no, they did not have the parts in their truck. I also asked for an estimate, which they never sent. I got that replaced by another plumber the next day. I NEVER declined repairs, as stated on their invoice. Turns out after a shower, I was notified there was more moisture on the unit below. After that, I kept calling CAPPS to get more details on their incorrect leak diagnosis, but they refused. They said to contact my HOA, who said there was no further information or photos. After numerous emails and phone calls to CAPPS, I received a brand new estimate from them, saying I need to replace the waste and overflow with p-trap, which they could replace for another $862. I was told by my HOA that it was MY misunderstanding, which was not true. The HOA tried to force me to let CAPPS back in after their new diagnosis, and I decided to get my own plumber instead. GUESS WHAT? My plumber, after multiple tests, made their diagnosis for only $200. They said that the overflow did NOT need to be replaced. Instead, the leak was caused by the shower valve and spout - NOT the waste overflow and p-trap. This whole experience has been a nightmare. I would not recommend their services ever!

We reviewed your account and found we were hired by your condominium association for an emergency leak investigation in various units. Because we were hired by your association, we sent them the invoice because we can only charge the party that hired us. We do work for over 100 different properties with different bylaws, and those bylaws dictate who is financially responsible which can result in a charge back to a unit owner.
