Cathy called yesterday but did not provide us all of her information until this morning to run a proposal. She expected a quote immediately. I was out of the office this morning attending to a family member in the hospital. I explained this to her but she did not seem concerned. Melanie explained on two calls and two separate emails (after she called us twice this morning) that I would get back to her at my earliest convenience. We take pride in spending the appropriate time to quote a customer. After her third call to our office this afternoon when I had returned, I hung up on another call, took her call, completed a quote with a carrier that would accept her and gave her the quote which she was unhappy with as the carrier required that she pay a previous balance that was owed to them. I told her we could not issue the new quote without the previous balance. She was very unhappy with this requirement. We are a full service brokerage with a variety of carriers. We pride ourselves in evaluating risk, not fast quotes with low limits and prospects that have little regard to their quality of insurance.
