Evergreen Village at Bloomington

Hello I am Kenneth Aker a proud resident of Evergreen Assisted Living. First of all I must say I was not ready for this in my but a stroke changed that and I had to find a way to except that and keep moving forward wel the staff here has help me with that portion of my life that was dredding but after a year of being a resident I am happy with my life I don't have a room anymore but an apartment my home in every since of the way, so look foard to hearing more from me because I am just getting warmed up because I have even talked about how beautiful this place is or walking out the back door to a nice waking trail yep Home.

I visit my Aunt at Evergreen Village quite often. And ever since my first visit I have liked this place. Very clean, well managed. Great friendly, staff everything first class. I can't express enough how well they treat and take care of my Aunt. She likes living there and likes the Administrator and all of his Staff. Loves her Nurse Alicia and all the other staff members as well.. always different activities for the residents, field trips, etc ..and the facility being Pet friendly is so so AWESOME for the residents. Gives some of them needed responsibilities and something to love and something that will love them back.. Win Win situation. 5 Star Facility all the way! Thanks Evergreen for doing what you do!

Good place for residents, I really like my job but not all this, boss rich likes to hire cooks in at hirepay than his head cook, and says why didn't you tell me and act like it's a surprise ,but still not make pay right , you tell me what kind of place this is, why can't we have iceing on cakes for residents they don't want plan dry cake ,other cook almost burnt place down he left ribs on burner all night and said he did it on purpose, still has job, and I spent 3 days cleaning his burnt pans did not even get a thank you, they need to clean walk in shelfing mold growing all over it, rich does know, no cold water for are prep sink been 2 months, there is a major problem with restrooms not being clean, First no cleaning workers on the weekends! why? these restrooms make me sick there will be poop on set,floor,walls door I have seen this sit for 24hrs or longer on weekends , windows and doors through building need clean, dinning room windows, doors .the picture at bottom is just once thank you the way it is here

My mother had a hard time at first but now is happy with good friends! Staff is wonderful! Lisa, Kat, Dana and Head of Nursing, Nicole are patient and go out of their way to help.

Evergreen Village has been a great new home where I have made new friends and redound some from my youth. The staff is very kind, caring, and helpful!
