Our college student went there for a nail in the tire. They said it was too close to the sidewall and a new tire must be purchased. Took to another shop and they said it was nowhere near the sidewall, and patched it. I feel like Midas was trying to SCAM and would not recommend them for tire repairs.

I will not be bringing my car back to this shop. My experience with them has gone like this: Bring car in. Pay for inspection. They tell me whats wrong with it. Drop car off, pay hundreds of dollars for repairs. A few months (or sometimes just weeks) pass. Theres a new problem with the car. Rinse and repeat 3-4 times. Im no car expert, but youd hope any mechanic would do a thorough inspection and be able to identify other potential problems at once instead of charging you for multiple inspections over the course of a few months, right? Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. Definitely makes me feel like Im being taken advantage of.

Tried to charge me four dollars per quart to dispose of used oil. Never heard of that in my life. Sketchy. Go to Jiffy Lube next door. Theyll do it for free.
