We renovated a historic home in Bloomington IN - built in 1890. Great communication along the way from multiple staff members regarding safety things structurally to improve and did so ahead of time so we could adjust budget and before making bigger purchases such as appliances. Keystone truly brought an old beauty downtown back to life and created our dream home while blending old with new. Couldnt be happier. Wouldnt recommend another group!

We had an amazing experience building our home with Keystone! When we decided to build, we went to the Bloomington Parade of Homes and saw several homes. After seeing those built by Keystone, nothing could compare! The homes were unique, extremely well built, and had amazing attention to detail and some really interesting floor plans that worked perfectly for what we needed. We initially worked with the owner, David, to get the plans rolling and he was so easy to work with, really explained all of the details and was really welcoming of any suggestions or changes we made while always giving us great advice about what would or would not work for our home! We also worked with a designer, and that was so helpful to have someone recommend choices that would make everything in the home go together seamlessly! For pricing, they were always upfront and honest about cost, and really worked on finding cost-effective options that fit what we wanted and fit our budget! We are so impressed and love our home so much. Although this is our forever home, if we build again, Keystone and David are the only people we will call!

Honest, professional, passionate, proud, transparent, custom, smart, superior quality, on time delivery, solution provider, patient, customer focused, sincere, integrity, and luxury are just a few words that come to mind to describe our experience with Keystone Construction. One meeting with David Killion and Keystone Construction is all it takes for you to see that Keystone Construction is the right choice for your project. After my wife and I found our dream property to build our dream home on, we started the process of selecting a custom home builder. After one meeting with David and the Keystone staff, it was obvious that Keystone Construction was the right choice to design our custom home and make our dream home a reality. David was able to take all the thoughts, ideas and sketches we had come up with over the years and was able to really understand our needs and also our wants in order to design our custom dream home within our budget. David spent many hours with us in his conference room working with us to finalize the design of our home. During this process David was honest with us when our ideas didn't match our budget. This is extremely important when spending the most money you likely will ever spend on a single item in your life. When we had an idea that was way out of budget David was honest with us. The difference with Keystone Construction is that they are solution providers. They helped us find ways to maximize our ideas and floor plan such as suggesting cost effective solutions to meet our needs and wants that we would have never thought of, such as room and attic trusses over the garage for additional bonus room space. This one example illustrates how passionate Keystone Construction is when it comes to delivering your dream home that fits your lifestyle.
One of the many things that really stands out about Keystone Construction is that they take the time up front to deliver an accurate, complete, and transparent quote. Keystone makes you feel as if you are their only customer. They are always patient when listening to you and when explaining the process; they truly are customer focused. The entire Keystone staff was dedicated to our project from the very first meeting. Their dedication was evident by their availability to answer questions, field phone calls, and meet in person.
After a schedule was set and the contract was signed there was never a moment when we felt like our project wasn't progressing. I constantly tell people how amazed I am that Keystone Construction was able to stick to the schedule and deliver our dream home to us when said they would. Most importantly Keystone's transparent process showed us first hand that quality was never sacrificed for schedule. Keystone Construction maintained the cleanest jobsite I have ever seen and I have been on many jobsites. I once commented to David about how clean the jobsite was and he simply replied "It's your dream house, it deserves to be clean". That comment is just one of many examples that shows how proud he is of his work.
One of many things that I learned throughout our home building process from Keystone Construction was just how far energy efficiency has come over the years. Keystones energy efficiency knowledge and standards they adhere to show in the final product. Our house just feels different than other homes. Tight and strong are two words that come to mind when describing how our home feels. This is reflected in our energy bills which are drastically less than we were paying in our old home and our new Keystone home is more than twice the size of our previous home. The thousands of dollars we will save over the years in energy costs was a really nice surprise.
My wife and I are proud to say that Keystone Construction built our forever dream home and we wholeheartedly endorse Keystone Construction. If youve taken the time to read this review then you owe it to yourself to pick up the phone and call Keystone!
