image I stayed here for a business trip and conference. The Indiana touches were beautiful to look at. There were some interesting stories behind the details(shared by guest services).
Everything was clean, modern, and the service was great too. The hotel is within walking distance to several restaurants and IUs campus.
They provided food for our meeting and what I had tasted great. Unfortunately, I didnt get to taste much, as there were not a lot of allergy friendly or diet restriction foods. (Gluten free, dont eat pork).
Overall, it was a great time and Id stay there for a personal trip in the future.

image I have now tried to book Graduate Bloomington twice for two of our trips to visit IU - both times the hotel was sold out. I am trying to make these reservations about 2 months in advance - both attempts to do so failed. Their website is difficult to navigate, so the booking process is not overly intuitive in the way it is designed. I have also looked on other common travel booking platforms and nothing ever seems to be available at Graduate Bloomington. I don't know how big this hotel is, but amazed that every single time I try to book it, it shows as being completely sold out. Very frustrating.

image I stayed at The Graduate in Bloomington, Indiana for Alumni Leaders Weekend. The building was easy to get to and conveniently located. Parking was easy to access. The front desk staff were excellent and very helpful.
The room dcor was fun and thoughtfully laid out. The view from the balcony wasn't perfect, but it's a balcony that I didn't expect. There were chairs and a table on the balcony to make morning coffee great. There was no coffee maker, but there was a kettle in the room and some instant coffee. Poindexter's coffee made up for the lack of (good) coffee in the room. The room had a mini fridge behind the dresser/desk door, so it blended in but does exist! The closet had ample space with a safe, iron, ironing board, and several quality hangers. The bathroom was amazing. It's beautiful, but there was a stand where I could put my makeup even though the sink counter was ample, and there were two shelves in front of the mirror. Having one would have been great but three is amazing. The shower door is the door of my dreams. I also have to note that the insulation must be top notch because I only heard one group outside my room, which was near the elevator on the floor with all of the meeting rooms.
Finally, I completed the standard survey after my stay, and I was incredibly impressed at the response by Matt Hazen, the Guest Experience Manager at the hotel. He took the time to respond directly and in detail to my feedback. Great work!
