The room seemed ready for a refresh. The decor was dated, and the grouting in the shower needed to be patched or replaced. The bathroom was cramped and small.

The location is the only reason to stay here. The front desk attendant didnt have anything friendly about him. He and his coworker (who was complaining about the job in front of me) barely looked at me and did not once crack a smile. It puts a sour taste in your mouth. Our room reeked of marijuana upon entry and my husband found a joint on the floor of the room. There was other trash on the floor as well. He brought the J down to the front desk attendant who didnt seem bothered by it. I would have Been extremely apologetic if that was my job. I logged into their (unsecured) WiFi network and within 30 minutes at 10pm I got a SCAMMER text using my first and last name asking how my stay was going. The number that texted me was not part of the Hotel. Are they selling guests info? It was so weird. This wasnt my first choice but another hotel nearby didnt have a 2-bed room for our dates. They had NyQuil and cough drops for $4 each when my kid started to feel sick which was convenient since there arent any stores nearby. The pool could be cleaner. They do not provide coffee in the lobby since there is a Starbucks. In-room coffee was decent. You pay for parking which is conveniently located. The city view room was worth it for the sunset. Better customer service would have improved our stay. Next time were in town were going to stay someplace away from downtown with better amenities.

Experienced breathing problems during the night. Next morning, I noticed that there was mold on the ceiling directly above the head of the bed and the ceiling of the adjacent wall. Didnt notice it when I arrived because it was night and the room was dimly lit. This was a more expensive larger corner suiteI expected better than what I experienced. Hilton Customer Service has been notified via email. I dont believe that I have ever posted a negative review of a business - that should tell you how bad my experience was.
