Decent fishing, Nice place to walk around on the paved trail. The only downfall is that they do not rent boats anymore, and you cannot take your own boat/ kayak here.

March 2023 picked to become one of Garys Jewel Parks. Park is quite nice already and it will be interesting to see what improvements will be made.

I love walking here with my Huskies.

An excellent place to grill and picnic adjacent to glorious sand dunes and close to the shore of Lake Michigan. Restrooms are available.

The trail is short but full of natural wonder and some character. Wildflowers, oak forest and dune views are plentiful. There is also a peek at the Algren home.

Tried to bike here on 8/12/23... it was filled with large branches and a power line was downed hanging onto it near Bridge St. Very dangerous.
