After a visit from our home warranty company we learned that we had a leaky toilet. After a google search I called The Dry Out Guys. I made them aware that I did not know much about this process. The office was able to walk me through every step of the way. They worked with the insurance company and even at a busy time of the year they were able to have my home finished for the holidays. Thank you for your time, attention, and flexibility in repairing my bathroom and kitchen ceiling. I highly recommend your services for anyone that needs work on their home.

Super pleased with the response time and professionalism from the office staff and from Sam. Sam was able to come out the afternoon I called and then was able to come out within a couple days to perform the work. Everyone super courteous and helpful!

This whole experience has been crazy. We just purchased our house back in July and at the start of January, our basement flooded. We have a finished 1900 sq ft. basement and I'd say there was a good 4-5 inches of water everywhere. We were happy that The Dry Out Guys could come during the late hours of about midnight to 3 am to help us with this. I will say that they did what they could to save anything possible instead of just starting to rip everything out. There was a span of a couple of days where no one came to check on the fans/dehumidifiers and because of this, some of the equipment was not working and therefore it took longer to dry everything out. I'm not entirely sure if we were charged for this (they said we weren't) but overall for a total of I want to say 4 days that we should have been charged - a day or two extra that we shouldn't have been charged - the total cost of everything was about $14,500....pretty steep, especially since that cost doesn't account for any of the repairs that will need to be done. Unfortunately, a week later, our basement flooded again. Luckily, we caught it quicker so there wasn't as much water damage but nonetheless, The Dry Out Guys needed to come back out. We were unsure if we would be able to go through insurance again since we just had a claim a couple of weeks prior, so Sam told us he'd help us as much with the cost as possible. He had quoted us roughly $600/day for all the equipment again - everything was here for 2 full days. After talking with our insurance rep, he said we could open a 2nd claim and since our deductible is $1,000 and paying for 2 full days of drying was already costing more than that, he said we may as well go for it. This had all been communicated early on that we were going to try and go through insurance again but that of course insurance was being very vague with what they would help cover. Anyway, we just got the bill for everything, and we are now being charged $3,500 for only 2 days of drying and not the $1,200 that we anticipated. Sam said that because we decided to go through insurance that it's more (3x more!!!) because they have to submit it through a system, and it is what it is. I feel like all of this should have been communicated to us upfront as we communicated upfront that we were going to try and go through insurance again. We are very disappointed in the outcome of this as we aren't left a lot of money to do any repairs with our basement and we just bought this house, and it was super nice down there. Not to mention, now everything is chaotic down there, furniture everywhere, and they broke a leg off of one of our couches while moving it around - no one from their team ever told us, it was just left lying down there after the fact (the couch was an almost $4k couch). The team was very nice, and I feel like they did their best with the unfortunate circumstances, but overall, it has left a really bad taste in my mouth how everything unfolded. We feel taken advantage of and hopeless about getting repairs done to our basement now in a timely matter. We had to act quickly when this happened especially based on the amount of water that we originally had down there, but I would highly suggest looking around at other companies for assistance if you have the luxury to do so.
