    My experience with this rental company has been extremely disappointing. Not only did they consistently find ways to charge extra fees, but their management team was unhelpful and downright rude. Despite my efforts to maintain cleanliness, the apartment was infested with roaches, and I was unfairly billed for pest control. Even after returning the apartment in better condition than when I received it, they charged me for cleaning their old, dirty carpets. The only redeeming aspect was the maintenance crew, who were efficient and fair. In conclusion, I strongly advise against renting from this company. Their dishonest practices and poor management make for a regrettable living experience.

    We lived in the townhouses at Village Square for a little over 4 years. In that time we have seen management companies come and go, renovations, and new faces for maintenance. Village Square is in proximity to everything you could need, but definitely not a quiet option being as it is next to the highway and the fair amount of instances where police have to be called to the complex (Happened more often towards the end of our years here). The renovations that happened throughout the time here were done by individuals in unmarked white vans and they literally built the wooden patios out of recycled pallet wood. We had at least three or four instances where a water pipe burst in another unit and flooded our dining room and kitchen. This complex is in desperate need of plumbing and electrical upgrades and after seeing the labor they hired for the renovations it does not lead me to be confident that any electrical or plumbing work (that is worth anything) will be done here. The maintenance staff came to swap out a breaker and after asking the leasing staff what the issue was they (not kidding) told me that the breaker was leaking oil. They are unqualified and likely under paid and its really *really* apparent. Additionally, I will concur with the other comments here that the leasing manager (NOT the staff), the manager Natalie H, is beyond rude, dry, and has no business dealing with client management at all. Every instance I had on the phone with her was unpleasant and condescending. This complex is *the* definition of the landlord special, and was a solid place for us for years, but definitely was not without its struggles. Our rent started at $750.00 when we moved in for a 2 bd 2.5 bath, and was $1100.00 by the time we moved out. It is just not worth it for the entry level price and renters will continue to drown in rental increases until better options start popping up. I believe this company was ran locally and then bought out by a company in Carmel and it is cleeeear that the higher ups are not monitoring or tracking the growth of their complexes. Clean it up y'all.

    Moving in was a breeze. There were and still are some things were noticing that need fixed but maintenance has done a fantastic job in helping us. The issues weve had have been getting in contact with someone that will give us a straight answer about our mail key. We have been living here for almost a month and when we first got our stuff they made it sound like it would be done later that day. A week goes by and we go back to the office to get information about our mailbox number and our key and we were told they will have to contact the post office. We have sent several emails which have been ignored (all to the same email that was responding to us before we moved in.)

    Do not rent from here. Or even work for them. They are a horrible company. They had a major outbreak of bed bugs, we are clean people and have never had an issue until we moved in. The first day we moved in, we were infested with cockroaches. Due to their fault as to why we have to move, they are now telling other complexes that my brother (who lives with us) that we had them, keeping them from getting a new place. If it wasnt for THEM, we wouldnt have to move. We have paid for 2 bed bug treatments (even though they said if they came back after the first, we wouldnt have to pay anymore) we moved into a new complex owned by them, and we dont have them here, but are paying for a treatment at a building we dont even live at. Overall, the maintenance is amazing, but the office, BEWARE, she is NOT NICE.

The post office owns those mailboxes and they have now changed policy on how to get the locks changed and receive the new keys for the new residents. Kenzie-I understand that your anger is coming from the events that took place with your boyfriends employment with our company. The extermination procedures are policy and that any resident that has bed bugs in their unit have to pay for the service of extermination. There were other units in this building that were not affected, so calling it an infestation is not accurate.
