A Complete Accounting & Tax

I had initially set up an appointment to speak with Carol Young regarding on taxes in mid March. I waited over an hour in their lobby for my appointment and was not acknowledged a single time. I ended up leaving my tax documents with the front desk and called back 5 separate times over the next two weeks to inform them of an additional document that we needed to submit. Each and every time, I was told that Carol was meeting with a client and that she would call me back. Not once had I received a call back. After waiting weeks with 0 response from the front office or Carol herself, I called to share my frustration. I let the front office know that I would be picking up my tax documents, as Tax Day was rapidly approaching and I need to get them finished. The front desk worker began to talk back to me and cut me off as I tried to understand why I had been ignored at every turn. I had informed the front desk worker that this entire process has been handled unprofessionally and that each interaction I've had with their office has been met with rude responses. The woman at the front desk told me she would have my paperwork ready for me at the front desk and hung up on me, mid-sentence.

Ask for MICHELLE! We have used this place for years and she definitely knows her stuff! We have recommended her and now most of our family members go to her too!

Carol is unprofessional & I would not recommend her. She also messed up my daughters dads taxes by entering 2 routing numbers instead of his account number causing a huge mess for him to try to clean up. Still never received his state tax from last year.

Carol made a mistake on my taxes and expected me to pay her even though the mistake caused me to not receive my refund. Continuously calling me and when I asked to speak to her she was always busy... I offered to pay her a discounted price and she refused to own her mistake. Unprofessional

This has been my experience as a new customer and what I went through. One of my taxes was an amended (2020)and my 2022 was rejected(both prepared by someone else) and they said they could get to them to fix the situation. I felt as though I was treated as a low priority. I had my taxes there for over 2 months and no one called to update me nor did they say upfront it would take this long. It took multiple phone calls on my end and leaving a voicemail with the person doing my taxes(no phone call returned) to keep getting a status to see when they were going to get to them. I finally had to get them and take them to another preparer because of the lack of responsiveness to my needs.
