Sorry for the inconvenience!!!!! However when you called to make the appointment you failed to tell us that car was in need of extensive engine work among a total restoration! You made an appointment for us to install a fuel pump, battery, starter, among a couple other odds and ends that we saved a day or two for! We work by appointment on most things and the extent of disrepair your VW Bug was in would be an extensive overhaul/restoration we simply did not have time to accommodate your request at the time you wanted! We also don't have the room to store it in our shop due to numerous restorations in various stages of progress! we never touched the car and you had it towed to a colleagues shop and he also turned the job down do to miscommunication via telephone when the appointment was made with them!leaving a bad review do to miscommunication on your end was a disappointment to say the least! We wish you the best and hope you find someone who will take on that project for you!UPDATE!Once again your not being truthful!!! This Bug was taken to a colleage like mentioned above and he denied the job for the same reasons we mentioned above! Then the car was taken back to the towing companies lot, then the towing company took the car to a storage unit, then picked it up at the same storage unit and took it to another individual that did have time to do the work you requested!!!!!YOU DID NOT PERFORM THE WORK YOURSELF! We understand its "just a Bug for goodness sake" we have done numerous restorations on Bugs! There was a misunderstanding when you made the appointment with us and we simply didn't have time to do the requested work at that time!Being dishonest with all parties involved is unacceptable and very disappointing! We are glad you got your bug going now go enjoy it before winter hits! Thanks
