        My drunk, emotionally verbally mentally abusive ex used iowa legal aid for a case where he got fired for being drunk. Because he used them, I'm not allowed to get free legal aid because it is a conflict of interests... Wow. My four childrens' mental health, emotional health, financial health doesn't matter because he wanted to make sure he got unemployment benefits????? Why do you exist?

        Had an open child case with legal and and they closed my case due to me not having court dates back to back! If you ever have a child custody case, I advise you pay for your own lawyer. They closed my case due to them, not having enough workers Cedar Rapids Iowa system is by far the worst I have ever experienced! Fast forward now I have trail coming up with no legal representation!
