Des Lux Hotel

My husband and I just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and wanted to make a short drive to Des Moines. After reading the reviews, we decided to stay at Des Lux. From the start, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. Zack and Michelle were SO helpful and kind. We really appreciated the hospitality. The lobby was gorgeous and so was the room. The king suite was very spacious and came with wet bar and jacuzzi tub. It was absolutely PERFECT! They even helped us set up a couples mesage (byw, if you haven't tried one yet, this is your chance! It didnt disapoint). Thank you all so much for everything, we'll be sure to make a repeat visit next time we have some time away from our kiddos.

We have stayed multiple times now and it is always a great experience. We will be back. The hotel just feels special.

Front desk was very friendly upon our arrival, and no issues with check-in. King corner suite was very large, and there are snacks and drinks to purchase in the room. It is downtown, and that comes with the noises. Constant noise throughout the night, but the hotel did provide ear plugs if you need them.
