Legacy expanded our deck this spring. They did not finish the project, leaving one of our deck posts without bolts securing it to the decking. This is not a big deal if they just send a person out to finish installing the bolts. However, we have been repeatedly ignored when requesting that they come finish. Nick was great to work with, but he apparently sold his portion of the company and now Josh has seemingly ghosted us in our email communication. There was also a fair number of nails, cut siding, wood debris, and a couple of tools (in good condition too) left scattered around our yard. With small children and a dog that was concerning. We picked it all up for them after realizing that they did not intend to come back to finish securing the post to the deck. Pretty disappointing that we will be taking the project from 95% done to 100% done ourselves. To be fair, the construction that they completed was good and we are happy with the quality. But the total lack of follow through and apparent ghosting has severely tainted our experience and we unfortunately cannot recommend them for a project at this time.

Duane, the salesman was a great guy to work with. I felt like he listened to what I wanted and helped me make choices accordingly. He was knowledgeable on window specs and friendly to talk to. The installation crew were very polite and did a good job cleaning up after themselves. I had them install a huge bay window in the front of the house. It looks great and looks like it's well made. Legacy replaced nine windows in our older home. The sales process with Duane was low pressure and we found the products of quality and at a reasonable cost. Nick and crew were timely, professional and were respectful in the household. The quality of the work is AMAZING! We love the new look and will recommend Legacy for home improvement needs. We hired Legacy to stabilize our attached enclosed porch and install new windows . The team kept us informed every step of the way until the entire job was completed. The team was also professional and friendly. We love the work they did and are enjoying our porch again.

Review: 12/11/2020 Revised: 12/13/2020 Duane sold us 5 windows and a deck slider door in June (dad to the owner). Our plan was to do the upstairs everything this year and downstairs everything next year to spread out the big expense. The windows were on delay after the derecho came through, but no one notified us. I had to initiate communication on a few accounts to get firm dates for when the project would be finished, which got pushed back. Install in October went very smooth. We had siding ready for them to use so everything would go quickly and the install went very smoothly both days the team was onsite. Day 2 they explained they accidentally trashed the new screen and crank handle for the 1 casement window and needed to order a new set to return with. It took 2 more months and a struggle to get communication. I was worried they had taken my money and ran leaving us with an unsafe window in my daughters room without screen or handle. After leaving my review Friday night, I got a personal call from the owner (Nick) on Saturday morning to make things right and finish the project. He was kind, apologetic and did not lay out excuses. He wanted to make things right. He sent Brian, lead crew, out Sunday (today) to ensure the job got completed and customer care, which it did. While there were bumps in this project with things (debris outside, masks during a pandemic and communication), those are things they can work on internally to improve. The quality of the windows are amazing! Their craftsmanship on the install, woodworking skills and care for cleanliness inside our home were all noted and praised in the process. Friday night I would not have gone back to them for the other half of our home next year, and after their personal contact and quick response they showed professionalism. I would do business with them again. We chose this company after getting 6 window quotes. They are a locally owned family run group, great quality windows, and Duane spoke highly of their warranties and work integrity. I am pleased with how things have turned out (even 6 months start to finish) and as Nick wished us...I hope we get to enjoy the windows for years to come! Service: Window installation
