Wingate by Wyndham Sioux City

I feel very compelled to write to your corporate office before getting on my flight leaving Sioux City, Iowa to give the BIGGEST compliment to a young man who is your overnight front desk representative at the Wingate Wyndham employee in Sioux City, Iowa. My overall stay from 4/2-4/6/2024 was pleasant, and the staff were very accomodating, your morning breakfast team was fabulous and the food was fresh and hot and the woman there preparing each morning was such a sweet woman. My biggest reason however, was to let you know what a gem you have with the young man who works your overnight and was with me today on 4/6/24 when I went to leave for airport. His name is Aum, and he didn't do his job well, he did he job with IMMENSE perfection. I walked out to get to my car, he not only greeted me, he said right away that he just brewed fresh coffee (at 4:15 am by the way) and to grab a cup. Followed by asking me where I was from, and it turned out to be the most pleasant conversation I had in the week I spent here in Sioux city. He is a student majoring in business at USD and his family moved from New Jersey and he went to the same high school as my husband in Edison, New Jersey. I'm not much of a talker nor do I ask questions of most people but this young man is by far your most exemplarary employee representing this location. I felt the need to highlight his personality, his speed and efficiency ( he also asked if I wanted a receipt and even though I said I don't think I need it- he had it at the ready for me) and his extremely warm hospitality. I come every year to Sioux City for business with the colleges in the area and his demeanor and pride in his position should be replicated with everyone you have on staff. Kudos to the fine team you have at this Wingate location!

The only place in sioux city we stay. Staff is awesome rooms reasonable and clean. Heated pool and breakfast is a bonus. Noteworthy details: Near restaurants and mall...right off interstate. Lots of shopping areas. Gas station across the street.

Had a fun relaxing weekend with two ofy granddaughters. Really loved the heated pool! Shopping near by as well as restaurants. Anyone that is looking to just relax, this is the place! Friendly and helpful staff! Will return!
