Ken and team installed siding in 2010 under previous home owners and immediately responded to my request to inspect a caulking issue that was recently discovered. Even though the warranty had expired and they were backed up with projects, the issue was fixed within 24 hours of the initial inspection at no cost. I interviewed seven companies from the Certified James Hardies Preferred List. When Ken arrived for his Estimate Interview, I was immediate invited to meet him outside to discuss the project. I handed Ken my Wish List for the replacement of the siding on my home and detached shed. Ken addressed every item on my Wish List and made suggestions for additional changes. Watching Kens four installers was like watching a perfect choreograph dance. His four workers enjoyed working together. His four workers were professional, polite, hard workers, arrived early stayed late. Ken was professional and extremely easy to work with. Every item on my contract was completed. Ken was on the job site every day. Distinctive Home Exteriors met my expectations.

Ken and Distinctive Home Exteriors did an amazing job on our house! Our friends across the street recommended him after he did their house, they go Ken's name from a neighbor behind them who had Distinctive Home Exteriors do their house. We were looking to have our siding and windows replaced. We wanted to go with James Hardy Siding and Ken's company offered Wincore Replacement Windows. We had Distinctive Home Exteriors do our windows as well. Ken only does windows in conjunction with siding, he does not do just windows. We secured our bids and Ken hit the middle. We chose him because we had watched his crew do a fantastic job installing James Hardy Siding on our neighbors house. Our house needed siding bad. Ken replaced all the bad wood, including window framing that needed replaced. New sheeting was applied where the old sheeting was no longer good. Once the James Hardy Siding went on, the substructure was once again solid! (One example is in the pictures below.) Ken came in on budget, on time, and did exceptional work. His crew was a delight to have around the house, they were respectful, clean, they sang and laughed and were very nice! They left everything clean and detailed our house plank by plank before the job was finished! Our house was in dire need of exterior siding, windows and trim. Ken came out to give us a siding quote after a half a dozen other companies gave us large price tags a lot of work that need to be done Ken gave us an honest answer about that our siding actually did not need to be replaced and end up saving us a ton of money!
