So it started out by me showing up to pick up the vehicle at noon, as we scheduled. They did not have a vehicle ready and did not have a vehicle ready until 4:30 PM, 30 minutes before closing. After leaving the location about the time that they were closing I was driving off and was alerted by another driver that the tags on my vehicle expired in December 2021. Its May 2022. So how this escaped everyones attention for nearly 6 months I have no idea. Given the fact that the location was now closed I got on the customer service line with roadside assistance where they informed me that they could do a tow exchange that would take approximately 4 to 6 hours to arrive. Given the fact that the vehicle was supposed to be available originally at noon and had already been postponed to 4:30 PM and is now being postponed until presumptively anywhere between 8 and 11 PM, this is set all of my plants behind and essentially made the entire convenience of a rental car not only somewhat useless but extremely inconvenient. I would think given the fact that theyre supposed to do walk around inspections on the vehicle when they arrive that somebody could have taken the time to notice that the tags have been expired for nearly 6 months.
I have used enterprise on various occasions but today they were incredibly disorganized and nowhere near efficient. Super disappointed.
