Misty Glen had been my home since 2011. I have lived in may different units on the property. The residents are friendly and you feel a real sense of community. Staff is always helpful and on top of any issues that arise. Convenient having Jardine across the street and Dillons around the corner. Everything is right here. I hardly ever have to go more than half a mile for anything essential.

I moved to Topeka and saw a number of places and chose Misty Glen. It just made sense and fit my needs/wants. The townhome had a lot of space at a great price point in comparison to other places in the area, including apartments. Management was friendly and always helpful!! The location was good. Maintenance was quick. When there was a rent increase it wasnt huge. I lived there before they switched to the current management. With new management came a rent increase, utility fee that we werent paying before, and a drop of an employer discount I was receiving. Again, even with that it wasnt a ridiculous amount. Now I hate to even share, but this wouldnt be a full and accurate review without mentioning it. The only true issue I had were mice! I lived here for two years and the mice issue didnt happen until year two. I was told it could possibly be because of a tree that had been cut down in the yard area behind the townhome. I was also told that the mice started at a townhome at further end of me. So that would lead me to believe they were going from place to place in the subsection of townhomes. The only way this was being handled was pest control coming out and putting glue traps down. The mice made me EXTREMELY uncomfortable! It was too much and I hated it because I ABSOLUTELY LOVED my townhome. I would tell anyone when they asked that my place was the best part of me moving toTopeka (I moved to Topeka for work). If there were a better way to prevent those mice and get rid of them when the problem starts initially things would be great. Nonetheless, this is still a great place minus that issue. Also, good for whoever reads to also know. Another reason I left the unit is because I left Topeka all together.

I have lived at Misty Glen since late May 2022. It has been a very good experience. Parking at times can be tricky, but the community is great to live in. My townhouse is great for my daughter and I and we are close to a pool and have a small playground set right out our back door. Office staff is great, they listen and actually care about what residence have to say. They are available both via telephone and email. Email is how I do most of my stuff and they respond back as quick as they can. When I have to call maintenance, even after hours they are timely to come look at the problem and fix what needs to be fixed and explains what the next is if there is one. I had to call after hours on a Saturday around 6:30pm-7:00pm due to an issue and they were here timely and got the issue taken care of.
