This is a great hotel. The hotel and rooms and beautiful and very clean. The staff is so helpful. The food at the hotel restaurant is great. I will definitely stay again if I find myself passing through Topeka.

The restaurant was bad, small servings, over cooked food and very poor service. Not recommended.
Food & drinks: Terrible quality, poor service, high prices.

Great service. Staff was great and hospitable. The room was clean. Bed was very comfortable! Thank you, Cyrus Hotel! I'll be back.
Walkability: We walked across the street to a great restaurant with old school arcade games.

Pricey, for what you get. Room was nice, but thought our coffee supply would have been automatically replace the second day....We left the hotel early in the day assuming the room would be attended too for at least the coffee(weren't concerned about towels or bedding)...we see we could gave called for a restock....parking was out back in a parking garage, on the 8th to 11th, level which was easy to access with a room card. Because we had a rental car, I was nervous about leaving it there unattended as it wasnt an overly used parking garage...maybe being on the 8th level kept potential vandals away??? Dont recommended leaving anything inside, or in view, in your vehicle. We had no issues though.
Our rooms were on the 3rd floor 305/307, the view was basically non-existent, looking huge mechanical/heating/cooling units outside the window....
Again, the hotel seemed quite pricey for what you get....
Staff were helpful and friendly.
Nearby activities: The Evel Kineval museum is something to experience. We were truly surprised and impressed at the exhibit, within a short driving distance.
Walkability: Hotel is in old part of city with some great bars and restaurants on Kansas street. It was quite cool and windy but we walked to the Iron Rail brewery, Axe and Ale, music store, Brew Bank, Celtic Fox, and Topeka Performing Arts Center. Theres a huge open "park" center with stages that must have alot going on in summer.
Food & drinks: We checked out the Iron Rail, The Brew Bank, the Celtic Fox and the Happy Basset..all great spots.
The breakfast buffet in the hotel was pretty good...basic food, no waffle maker(whaa)...
