Bed was a cheap mattress that felt like you were in a boat. No pillow options other than a thick one. Normally am a residence inn fan, but not headed back to this one.

The room smelled like a wet dog, the couch was stained and dirty, sticky fingerprints on all surfaces, dinner table was broken. Just not a clean room period! Then to top it off the constant marijuana smell through the entire place was horrible. The breakfast and the attendant were both unpleasant. The entire experience was overpriced even with my discount, it was disgusting and I never say that about anywhere. It is in need of a serious overhaul and cleaning!!! The entire place is very outdated and just overall dirty. Not what you expect from this particular chain. If I was not so exhausted when arriving last night I would have gotten a refund and gone elsewhere.

If space is the most important thing to you and your family, then look no further. Just be willing to make some compromises. We have stayed at this hotel 2 times now, in 2 separate types of rooms (1 bedroom suite and 2 bedroom/2 bath suite). Compared to standard hotel suites, you can't beat the square footage per dollar. We stayed in the 2 bedroom/2 bath suite in our most recent stay and it was bigger than our first house. Our daughter is on a traveling sports team and we need larger rooms for extended stays when we travel. The housekeeping staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly. However, there were some glaring issues with the property that suggests that regular maintenance is not a priority. Both rooms we stayed in had issues with HVAC and plumbing. Both had water pressure problems and extremely slow drains (like 3-4" of water in the tub for a 5-6 minute shower). When we stayed in August, our room was never cool. Stayed above 78 even at night. During our trip in February, it was also a challenge to maintain a warm temperature in all of the rooms. The HVAC unit was incredibly loud and in a closet less than 2 feet from the bed my husband and I slept in. The location is nice, that it's off Wanamaker Rd, but it's along I-470 and the road noise is a problem. We could tell that linens and towels were clean (light smell of bleach), so we are thankful for that. The breakfast in August was very good, eggs were real eggs, lots of fresh fruit and a great variety of different muffins, bagels, cereals, and yogurts. Breakfast in February was disappointing, compared to August. Eggs were rubbery and probably something from Sysco. 1 muffin option, 1 bagel option, 1 yogurt option, only Kellogg Corn Flakes, and only bananas for fruit. Rooms: In need of maintenance, but spacious
