Excellent experience. $99 price affordable. Friendly staff. Clean rooms, comfortable mattress, decent breakfast. Recommend

Not the best experience. The security lights outside were not working, a bit concerning for us as we had a lot of hunting gear and coolers in the car (on our way back from a hunting trip in TX). The room was clean and comfortable, UNTIL we saw ants crawling around in the bathroom the next morning. We didnt have any food in the room so they did not come because of us. Upon later inspection we found pieces of chips from a prior guest under the beds. Got a wake up call at 6:15 that we did not request. All in all a 2 star review. Beds and towels were clean and comfortable and normal HiEx quality.

Nono service, and when you call for a reservation, its forwarded to Expedia, which charges double the advertised rate. To make matters worse, we were charged again at checkout. Neither the hotel staff nor Expedia were willing to refund us anything, and we were charged a total of $300 for what should have been $98. When you call the hotel, you are diverted to Expedia without warning, and they charge double the price advertised by the hotel. When we called Expedia to complain, we were told the person who works for them can charge anything they want! So, consider yourselves warned. Stay away from that hotel!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! We had the absolute worst experience! So many issues & so unsafe!
Our checkin time was 3:00 & upon arrival at 5:00 our room was not ready, they were still cleaning it. So we went to eat, came back, got keys, went to our room with all our luggage & SOMEONE ELSES LUGGAGE WAS IN OUR ROOM! Thankfully they were not in there so we didnt walk in on anyone! There was a fishing tournament so lots of men staying at the hotel and the luggage was clearly mens stuff. We felt so unsafe as we were 3 women traveling alone & random men had keys to our room! The front desk lady she said they had no other rooms to move us too but was adamant that they cant refund us because of their policies. Finally got the manager & she did offer to issue us a refund. They didnt seem very concerned about the safety issue! I wonder if those men were notified when they got back that we were in their room with all their luggage.
While we were waiting to get our refund two old men came to talk to us, they had issues with their room too! We also talked to another lady whose room door wouldnt lock and they were trying to find her a new room.
They also did not disclose the hotel is under construction!
