We used to go here every year for years up until Covid hit. We stopped going because every year we spent a lot of money, and we never saw that reinvested into the property. Every year, things got worse, and things like the nasty carpet and dirty floors remained. The only reason I am writing this is because one of the owner replies to another comment said they have a 100% health department record. I know for a fact this is NOT true because WE called the health department two years in a row for bed bugs. Two years in a row our family got bitten by bed bugs, and the health department confirmed this when they called us back in 2019/2020. We are done with this place, and I do not recommend.

My family and I, including my 3 fur babies, had a great time here. We came here after Labor Day, so the resort was relatively quiet. We met an older couple and their fur babies staying the same time as we were there, and they were very friendly and mentioned that they've been coming there for the last 20 years!
We rented one of their beautiful pontoon boats for a day and had a great time at the lake. Brian has been very communicative and wants us to contact him if we need anything.
My only minor complaint is the cottage that we stayed at has so many gnats, especially at night. It may be from the basement below us, but no windows or doors were opened. We didn't bother informing the management about this and just bought an indoor bug spray that helped a lot.
Overall, our experience was great, and we will be coming back!

We had a great stay over Labor Day weekend. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Boat rental was an added bonus too. Owner was very accommodating. Our dog had a great time too . Would highly recommend.
