Bait and switch tactics, they jack up the rates after the first month or however long you have the unit for after paying in advance. At least the staff is friendly though.

This company is a scam. They appear to have low rates, but after you have moved all your stuff in, they jack the price up. I've now had 2 different Extra Space locations double the monthly rate on me after just 3 months of renting.

The auburn unit has mice,my belongings have water damage and the manager in auburn refuses to pro rate the unit when I left 13 days before my next payment.gave an 18 day notice I was vacating the unit. Was never given a notice my unit was going up in price another 36 dollars yet nothing has changed for updates or accommodations.yet the mice live free in my belongings,and the water drips down the walls..I rented for 2 yrs and 2 months the price went up 100 dollars in that time and like I said No new changes for price increase.there is NO information about how to properly move out of the unit. the contract changes at their discretion.these price increases they don't tell you about before they happen cost me to almost lose my belongings twice.this Place is a scam and Ppl should Be aware of what they are getting into
i would never rent from them again nor would I recommend any of my friends to rent from them.
